RARE Deadstock 1940s Hand-embroidered French Slips by La Redoute
I recently was able to source a deadstock/ unworn lot* of 1940s, hand-embroidered French cotton slips from famous retail giant La Redoute. Founded in 1837 in Roubaix and still in operation and much loved to this day, La Redoute is quintessentially French: these slips (with 'hand-embroidered' stickers still attached!) are a true piece of history. Loose fit, with lovely floral embroidery and cutwork straps, they would be perfect as summer day dresses or light nightgowns on summer nights. And check out that lovely label with its classic 1940s font!
*Please note that price is per individual slip.
