RARE Antique 1940s Pure SILK Floor Length Gown with Lace
Outstanding and RARE 1940s Antique pure Silk gown in beautiful blush pink, with a dramatic floor-length fluid drape reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour.
The elegant deep V neckline is framed with wide panels of delicate pintuck seams and romantic beige lace, creating a beautiful contrast against the pink silk. Originally intended as sleepwear, but far too beautiful to be confined to the bedroom, this beauty would make a stunning evening dress worn beneath a silk wrap or oversize man's blazer. A particularly romantic example of 1940s antique lingerie and a gorgeous find for vintage collectors.

1940s antique lingerie
Pure SilkOverall in rare, excellent condition. In a small area on the back R shoulder some small, brown spots due to age, plus a couple of pinprick-size holes consistent with the age of the piece - not noticeable during wear. Pricing accounts for these small flaws.
