RARE Antique Edwardian Muslin Cotton Blouse
Exquisite and RARE antique Edwardian blouse in fine white cotton muslin, lovingly reclaimed and salvaged for modern day wear. The blouse features a wonderful sailor-style collar at the back, with delicate openwork lace and a very Downton Abbey-esque period silhouette. The soft long sleeves finish with elegant elongated buttoned cuffs.
The original blouse was given in more recent times a modern update, including its elasticated waist, and there are some historic repairs to the fine muslin fabric (please see 'Condition' for more details). As a testimony to this piece's quality however, it remains fully wearable and is an amazing example of an antique garment that has been given a new lease of life.

Pure cotton muslinVery good antique condition. Please note that, as this is an Antique Edwardian garment over 100 years old, it presents some small signs of wear consistent with its age and history. There are some historic repairs to the fine muslin fabric (one front, two back, one on back R sleeve) and the odd tiny sign of age/ wear (pinholes / tiny micro-tears), price has been adjusted accordingly.
As a testimony to its quality however, this beauty remains fully wearable and is a lovely example of an antique garment that has been given a new lease of life.
